Lucy's travel career started at an independent travel company in Stratford-upon-Avon. The firm foundation and excellent training this provided, along with the distinctions she obtained in every travel examination, quickly led her into management at an early age.

Part of Lucy's management career was spent at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, where she enjoyed a challenging two years promoting and developing the theatre, accommodation and restaurant packages. Her love of travel, however, led her back into the retail travel industry where she managed an independent travel company in Worcester for a while.

Early in 2001, Lucy set up her own business, specialising in bespoke corporate travel. This includes running schemes for companies interested in setting up a Travel Club for their employees. She has also taught GNVQ Advanced Travel and Tourism in Coventry. Lucy deals with all aspects of travel, from car hire, flights and accommodation to exotic around-the-world trips and tourism and leisure consultancy.
